Ned The Knight by Jeremy LaMarr (1996)
It's ok. It has a nicely populated world, with several animations, a simple story and good bosses. The two things that I didn't like were getting stuck/being confused a few times and having to backtrack several boards, some of which dense with walls making them bothersome to cross. Examples of the former are: I didn't pick up the armor/shield/sword at first, because I thought it was a mere decoration or unavailable to me at that moment, then I didn't understand when to switch to the second file, finally the final puzzle puzzled me. But the last one was my fault probably. I was a bit tired of the game by then.
Oh and there were dark mazes, but I didn't hate that too much.
