Angelis Finale by Commodore (2006)
I like the switch in font, it gives the game a different vibe from standard zzt that fits it quite well. And the gameplay is unique too, for example I found myself hiding from bullets behind obstacles which I rarely did in other zzt games (where you can easily outshoot anyone). However there are some problems. The enemies sometimes shoot and even kill each other. The fights themselves feel rather random to me, which sucks (see the main zzt page). A randomly, unpredictably moving target, which also shoots randomly. To shoot it you have to get in line with it, but that means there's a random chance of getting shot. The story is a bit questionable, and doesn't progress much, but that's fine.
Verdict: I'm not sure
At least it's reasonably short.
